BlackBerry investments more fund for its Partners $150M

BlackBerry Partners Fund, a fund focused mobile platform agnostic with support from Research in Motion, Thompson Reuters, and others, is being followed by a second $ 150 million fund that aims to double in mobile opportunities. With the new money, a new image of the ATP Capital, which managed the BlackBerry Partners Fund: The new entity will be called Business Link and will operate out of Toronto and Silicon Valley.

The new fund provides $ 150 million Ventures, relay much more money to make investments in mobile computing. The company seeks to fund all types of mobile early stage start-ups and has already funded 32 mobile phone companies to date, including Appcelerator, Xobni, Payfone and local response of the previous $ 150 million BlackBerry Partners Fund, launched in 2008. Previous attempts include buzzd, Pub Nub, Nexage and Pocket Gear.
